FAQs

How should my hair be prepped prior to styling?

Clean or one day old DRY hair is typically best with little to no product in it.

If I have curly hair should I blow dry it straight prior to styling?

Up to you! Most of the time it’s not necessary, but if you want to try it for your trial, we can see how it styles and make adjustments accordingly. Some curly hair won’t hold iron curls as well if it has been blown out straight, and some will. It just depends! You’re always welcome to rock your natural texture if you’d like too.

Do you rent out extensions?

At this time I do not carry extensions with me. However, I will happily help you find a brand that would be a good fit for you and install them for you on both your trial/wedding day.

Do you also do makeup?

No, but we can recommend some amazing makeup artists for you and even inquire about your date with them to make it a bit easier for you!

Do you have a service minimum?

At this time I do not, no.

How long are trials?

The average trial is about 2 hours long. We start with an in-depth consultation, then execute the desired style, critique the style, and potentially make changes or try a new style.

How many services can you do without an assistant?

It depends on the number of hours we have to get everyone ready. I need a minimum of an hour per person, plus a 30-minute buffer. Typically, I can do up to 5 services before needing an assistant, but it just depends on time!

What methods of payment do you accept?

I send invoices, but you aren’t required to pay through them if you don’t want to. I accept Zelle, Apple Pay, Cash, and Venmo (least preferred)

How do you handle large bridal parties?

Multiple stylists are needed for large parties. All it means is that not all of the bridal party will be done by the same person.

When is the total payment due for everyone/everything?

The total payment for your wedding day is due a week prior to your wedding. Collecting it a week early prevents people from adding on/dropping off of the timeline.

When do I need to pay my deposit?

As soon as possible would be best, because your date will not be officially held until a deposit is paid.
